200,000 petition for PC version of GTA V
A petition on Change.org for a PC version of Grand Theft Auto V has exceeded 200,000 signatures. The current number of signatures, at the time of writing, currently stands at just over 218,000. The petition declaration by user Mike Julliard reads:
To: Rockstar GamesPlease release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many people’s lives and it’s a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have.I hope you consider the release of GTA V on PC as it’ll make many people very happy!
Judging by previous games in the series, it’s highly unlikely that we won’t see a PC version. The question is when. GTA IV took 8 months after the console release before seeing a PC launch. However, the popularity of this petition may give reason for Rockstar to take notice of the huge audience for the game on the PC market.
