Kickstarter project Mighty No. 9 has already surpassed its stretch goal of $900,000 in just four days of its announcement. It just shows how much everybody has been yearning for a new Mega Man title as backers have pledged $1,256,437 with 28 days still to go until its funding period comes to an end.
Mighty No. 9, as promised by the $1.2m stretch goal, will now include two additional stages. Once it reaches $1,350,000, Mac and Linux version will be available. With 28 days still to go, it is safe to say that the game will reach its $2,500,000 goal to include a PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U version.
Eight backers have pledged the $10,000 or more to have dinner with the Mega Man creator himself Kenji Inafune. There still one more spot available for this, providing you’ve got at least $10,000 to spare.
According to the official Kickstarter page, Mighty No. 9 is expected to launch April 2015.
