The mobile version of the very popular block-building game Minecraft made more than a million dollars in sales during Christmas Day.

The full version of the game can be purchased at the iOS App Store for $7, which means that around 143,000 people downloaded the popular game on December 25th.

What caused so many people to download the game is believed to be all people who got new iOS devices from Santa, and that they rushed onto the App Store to download the game. Minecraft was originally released for PC in 2009 and has sold more than 30 million copies across all platforms, and the amount of people playing the game just keep increasing every day.
