New Elder Scrolls Online gameplay leaked
Youtube user ‘Scotty Mcbotley’ has uploaded a gameplay video of The Elder Scrolls Online. We’re not sure Bethesda will be too happy about it, as this breaks their non-disclosure agreement.
The gameplay briefly shows the character creation process, then showcases ‘Bleakrock Village’. This village looks like it’s one of the starter places, and is very reminiscient of the Skyrim art direction. Graphically, the game is looking great for an MMORPG, with fantastic scenery and moody lighting.
It’s looking like dialogue and the choices you make in conversations will be of equal importance to the rest of the series, although ‘Scotty’ skips past the majority of it. Combat looks rather floaty and basic in the video, although this is at an early point in the game. The minimal HUD gives a great impression of ESO being a ‘proper’ Elder Scrolls title, allowing for a very immersive feel that is lacking in so many others in the genre.
We wouldn’t usually talk you through a video you can watch yourself, but it might not be up for much longer! Here it is:
The video has been leaked in other places, such as here and here. Disclaimer: PCGMedia and its employees haven’t played The Elder Scrolls Online, and we haven’t signed any NDA’s. We’re merely reporting on the leaks of others, and we acknowledge that those users have breached their NDA agreements.
