This winter, it’s time for the fifth expansion entitled Warlords of Draenor for Blizzard Entertainment’s MMORPG World of Warcraft. In a video released recently, Morgan Webb sits down with Lead Encounter Designer Ion Hazzikostas, Lead Class Designer Kris Zierhut, and Senior Game Designer Brian Holinka to discuss the PvP and class updates coming in the next expansion pack.
In a new episode of WoW Source, fans of Blizzard’s World of Warcraft can learn more about some of the upcoming changes for Warlords of Draenor. In a thread on the official WoW forums, players have been able to send questions to the developers about PvP and class changes. A lot of people have complained about all of the various “stun-abilities” in the game. If a player walks into a battleground, ready to bash some heads in, “he gets feared, then he gets cycloned, then he’s stunned, and then he’s rooted and then he’s dead.” A method also known as “stun lock.” This has caused a lot of players to complain about all those stuns and fixing this was a high priority for the people at Blizzard. A new system will be implemented in the upcoming expansion which will diminish the duration of stuns if a player get stunned over and over again. Players will only be able to get stunned three times in a row before they will become immune for a short period of time.
